Conciliation and Arbitration

The FLA operates a conciliation procedure for consumer complaints and has an independent arbitration scheme operated by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. 

These schemes are free to consumers who have a grievance about their finance agreement with an FLA member.  In addition to this, the FLA will provide details of how to refer any complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service if a consumer is unhappy with the response from its finance company.
