SAF Competence Test
The SAF Competence Test is an annual online test aimed at all customer-facing staff in motor dealerships. The test, which must be renewed every 12 months, consists of challenging multiple-choice questions and must be completed within 40 minutes.
Users are asked questions on the broad range of motor finance products available to consumers and surrounding regulation. The syllabus for the SAF Competence Test can be downloaded here.

Reference material and the SAF Competence Test will be available for motor dealerships by the end of September. FLA members believe that improving consumer confidence in motor finance is a shared challenge for the retail motor and motor finance industries, and so the SAF Competence Test is free of charge to all motor dealerships.
