Advertising for ex-fleet vehicles (ASA ruling)

A recent Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) ruling indicated that vehicle promotions must clearly show if a vehicle was formerly part of a business fleet.

The ASA felt that a vehicle’s history was material information that could influence a consumer’s buying decision and stated that in the event of an ASA investigation, the marketer would need to provide documentary evidence to prove any claims that are made in an advertisement.  To view the ruling please click here.
